Who we help

Older Adults

At Chase Rehab we use a holistic approach to assess and treat our older clients, by evaluating their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social function, as well as their environment, to determine the best way to enhance their ability to engage in meaningful activities and maintain their independence. Our overall goal is to help older adults maintain their independence and address barriers that may prevent them for engaging in the activities they enjoy or need to perform daily.

People Living with Disability

The national disability insurance scheme (NDIS) is a government funded program that provides support and funding for people with disabilities in Australia. Based in Sydney, NSW our Occupational Therapist (OT) play an important role in our clients NDIS experience, by helping develop skills and strategies to live as independently as possible. Our overall goal is to work collaboratively with the client and their support team to provide person – centred care that promotes independence, participation, and inclusion in the community. The OT’s role for our NDIS clients is to help them achieve their goals and maximise their potential.

People Recovering from an Injury

At Chase Rehab our Occupational Therapists (OTs) play a crucial role in community-based rehabilitation programs. Community Based Rehabilitation is an approach to rehabilitation that emphasises community involvement and empowerment and aims to provide people with disabilities access to services, resources and opportunities to participate in society.

People Returning to Work and Everyday Living

At Chase rehab our Occupational Therapist (OTs) can play an important role in the rehabilitation of compensable clients, who have sustained an injury or illness related to their work or workplace, or from a motor vehicle accident. The goal of the OT in this context is to assist the client in returning to work or to their usual activities of daily living by supporting their physical, cognitive, and emotional recovery. We understand that each individual is unique, and their needs require personalised attention and care. Our overall goal is to work collaboratively with our clients, their families, caregivers and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic and inclusive approach to their well being.  Together we strive to create a supportive and empowering environment where our clients can thrive and achieve their potential.
